“You are always in danger in the forest, where no people are.
Step between the gateposts of the forest with the greatest trepidation and infinite precautions, for if you stray from the path for one instant, the wolves will eat you”.
Angela Carter, The Company of Wolves
"Perdida no Bosque" (Lost in the Woods) is a creation by Clélia Colonna, supported by Costanza Givone and featuring a libretto by Alex Cassal, which revisits the archetypal universe of the Little Red Riding Hood fairy tale. Through this project, the creators seek to establish a space for dialogue between diverse art forms and experiences, unveiling the timeless relevance of the narratives that connect and inspire us.

Dendromorphosis, the art of being a tree
25.07.2026 - 27.09.2026
PODCAST by Costanza Givone, Clélia Colonna and Alex Cassal
Public: from 6 years of age | Duration: 35 minutes
[ BRING YOUR HEADPHONES ]
A stroll through the forest can lead us to unexpected realms: to the canopy of one of the tallest trees on Earth; to a grove in Thessaly, where a nymph flees her pursuer; to the myriad microscopic fauna inhabiting the trunk of any given tree; or to a post-human future, where cities have been supplanted by lush forests. Following a residency at the Botanical Garden of the U.Porto, Alex Cassal, Clélia Colonna, and Costanza Givone have envisioned transformative encounters between humans and plants—a sonic alternative to anthropocentrism.
