On Sunday the 25th, we conducted the Annual Tree Planting at CAMPO, further advancing the transformation of the site into a forest—a vision we have been cultivating since 2023.
Furthermore, Samuel Ornelas and Costanza Givone have been collaborating on an exhibition slated for Porto’s Biodiversity Gallery in 2026. On this day, they unveiled the preliminary sketches conceived during their artistic residency at CAMPO and facilitated an activity inviting a visual reflection on the micro and macro scales of the plant, animal, and mineral kingdoms, which culminated in a practical woodcut workshop.

Drawing inspiration from mycelial networks, we have devised a programme that tracks the shifting seasons and interconnects urban centres with the peripheries, bringing together artists, academics, scientists, and the public. This journey seeks, through the medium of art, to forge pathways for the regeneration of both human and environmental ecosystems.
